usa-eb5.com is operated by Global Immigrate Limited and its Taiwan service entity (together "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act.
What we collect
Details you enter in the enquiry form: name, email, phone, preferred contact method and ID, country of birth, country of residence, whether you are in the U.S., investable-asset range, investment timeline, source-of-funds categories and anything else you choose to add. Asset and funds details are sensitive financial information, so we ask only for broad ranges and never ask for bank account or ID numbers in the form.
Technical data: the time and page you submitted from, your language, and your IP address, which we keep only briefly to limit abuse and spam.
How we use it
- To assess your enquiry and contact you by the method you chose.
- To arrange consultations, due diligence memos and follow-up services.
- To pass relevant details to a licensed U.S. immigration attorney or other professional adviser, but only after you agree.
- To keep the site secure and to meet legal and regulatory duties.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to issuers, regional centers or other third parties for marketing without your consent.
Service providers and transfers
We use trusted providers to run the site, including hosting (Vercel), a database (Upstash) and email notifications. Their servers may be outside Hong Kong and Taiwan, including in the United States. We choose providers that apply appropriate security and give them only the data needed to do their job.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and provide our services, normally up to two years after our last contact. After that we delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, ask us to stop contacting you, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing admin@usa-eb5.com (or admin@globalimmigrate.com for Taiwan enquiries). We will reply within a reasonable time and handle requests under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other applicable law. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong or the relevant authority in Taiwan.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We only store in your browser whether you have closed the notice at the top of the page. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this policy first.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian.
