It started with understanding the family first

In 2018, two La Salle College alumni, Oscar Yip and Fergus Wu, founded Global Immigrate in Hong Kong with one approach: understand the family first, then design the plan.

Today most of our clients come from Taiwan and Hong Kong, many of them doctors and professionals planning for their children's education. We built our EB-5 practice on written due diligence: every project is reviewed against the same criteria, and the conclusion goes to the investor as a memo.

We believe immigration is a major family decision, not just a change of country. So we state each programme's chances, risks and costs plainly rather than recommending a single route.

Oscar Yip

Founder & Managing Director

A La Salle College alumnus, Oscar founded Global Immigrate with his partner in 2018. He has grown the business from Canadian Start-up Visa work into investment and talent immigration across the US, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and oversees GI Group's tax, wealth and education services.

Justin Choy

Head of Taiwan & Local Compliance Adviser

A St. Stephen's College alumnus with more than 25 years of advisory experience across industries and in immigration. Justin holds the Investment Migration Council's IMCert, Taiwan's immigration professional certification and the CFA charter, and is a retained immigration adviser to several family offices. He leads compliance and operations at Global Immigrate's Taipei office and knows the financial planning, documentation and education needs of Taiwanese families.
